We don’t want anyone to be left hungry in Staffordshire because of COVID-19. Your Family Hubs are here to help you if you are struggling to find the money to buy food.
Our Family Hubs are helping individuals and families who need emergency food supplies. If you can’t find the money to buy food because of COVID-19, we may be able to help you. We will be able to put you in touch with people and organisations across Staffordshire who are helping people to find emergency food supplies. We may also be able to help some families with an emergency supermarket voucher where you are in need of urgent food and have no other options. Our team of Family Hubs will do everything we can to help you, so please get in touch.

- live with someone who has symptoms that may be caused by coronavirus
What we mean by household isolation
Household isolation means you and all household members or extended household members should remain at home and shouldn’t go to work, school, public areas or use public transport. You shouldn’t go out to buy food or other essentials.
Avoid close contact with others by:
- not having visitors
- not using taxis or public transport
- asking a friend or neighbour to get your shopping or arranging for a delivery to be left at your door
- not sharing towels, clothes, toothbrushes or razors
For health and safety reasons we have taken the following decisions:
No visits or visitors
No shared cutlery or crockery so we will continue with grab bags of food ( like a happy meal )
No assemblies or gatherings of more than one class in the school hall and staggered playtimes so that there is never more than 60 children outside on the same play area. We are fortunate to have four areas, early years, KS1 playground, KS2 playground and field.
We will stagger the start of the school day and the entrances that children use
EYFS will use the top gate on the Avenue and will stagger as follows:-
Nursery: 8.45 drop off – 2.45 pickup (11.45 pickup for morning sessions)
Reception: 9.00 drop off – 3.00pm pick up
Little learners: 9.15 drop off – 3.15 pickup (12.15pm pick up for morning sessions)
The rest of the school:-
Start of the day:
End of the Day
We will encourage all homework and home reading to be online so that there are no bringing into school of materials from home.
In all other ways, we are hoping that we can get back to normal as soon as possible. Staff, pupils and parents have been supportive of decisions made by the school leadership team throughout this difficult time and we will continue to put the health, safety and welfare of the whole school community first in all of our decision-making. Class teachers will continue to communicate with their new classes throughout the summer.
At this difficult time, we want you to be able to access support regarding mental health and well-being from the Government. There are several documents below to support this:
