RELIGIOUS
EDUCATION
At Featherstone Academy we follow Staffordshire’s Locally Agreed Syllabus which enables learners to explore a wide range of Religions.
At Featherstone Academy we aim to teach and inspire children to have: systematic knowledge and understanding of a range of diverse religions and worldviews. Enabling them to learn the knowledge and skills to articulate clearly and coherently their personal beliefs, ideas, values and experiences while respecting the right of others to differ. To promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and cultivate an aptitude and the cultural capital for dialogue so that they can participate positively in a diverse society.
